Hi All! Sounds like a great event. I’ve been at London unconferences which have used the pass and score method and I’d suggest not using this. Essentially, it limits voting to four or five people on any one idea and you don’t get the benefit of seeing what’s popular across the spectrum of attendees. I’ve seen topics that have a gender lens pass from one man to another, with scoring effected because it didn’t seem relevant/clear to the men who got the card. Please use a posted and dot-scoring system instead so everyone can see all ideas presented, there’s the opportunity to merge similar sessions, and rooms can be set based on demonstrated demand.
